Do you or will you soon be working / volunteering in a role that involves coming into contact with children or vulnerable adults? Our Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults course is for anyone who works with children or adults at risk. All children and vulnerable adults, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, socio-economic status, religious belief and or sexual identity have the right to protection from abuse.
Learning Outcomes
- Recognise your responsibility for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
- Examine the main categories of abuse and neglect for children as well as the different types of adult abuse
- Gain an understanding of the signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect for children and vulnerable adults
- Learn how to respond to allegations of misconduct or abuse of children and or vulnerable adults in line with the policy and procedures
