Celebrating ten years on 19 November 2021 Ashford Street Pastors began patrolling in Ashford town centre from November 2010.

An anniversary service (postponed from 2020) was hosted by Willesborough Baptist Church to celebrate this achievement.

Joining Ashford Street Pastors celebrating ten years were Inspector Simon Johnson and Cllr Callum Knowles, Mayor of Ashford.

Rev Les Isaac, the founder of Street Pastors, commissioned an amazing 21 new street and prayer pastors during the service.

Ashford Street Pastors continue to patrol every Friday and payday Saturday night. Our teams of men and women are there to care for, listen to and help people who are out on the streets.

Street pastors aim to provide a safe presence on the streets.

So next time you’re around Ashford and you spot a street pastors patrol, why not come and say hi
