Rev Steve Coulson was a founder trustee of Merton Street Pastors before moving to become Vicar at St. Mark’s Kennington in 2012. He chairs the Lambeth Street Pastors and is delighted that his Church has enjoyed a long term close relationship with street Pastors since their very beginning.
Uche Nnoka is a mentor with XLP and freelance writer. She was a Street Pastor for six years before becoming a Trustee with the Lambeth initiative.
Uche was drawn to the work of Street Pastors as it was the first time in her Christian life that she had seen Christians of all races from all
denominations joining together for one cause.
“It is a very unique ministry that can mobilise men and women, young and old, to go out onto the streets to tend to the needs of humanity, rather than hoping that they came inside the walls of the church so that they could be helped there.”
“I have been a Street Pastor in Lambeth since 2014. I am husband to
Katherine, father to Jesse and Co-Director of a small peacemaking charity
called CHIPS (www.chipspeace.org).
I was delighted to become a trustee of Lambeth Street Pastors to offer my experience of charity management and governance and to share my
experience as an active Street Pastor.”
