We are proud that in 2003, the first EVER group of Street Pastors were seen on the streets of Lambeth.

Many years, conversations and flip-flops later, our fantastic team of volunteers are still giving their time to care for, listen to and help people in their community.

The need is greater than ever, so please consider whether you’re able to commit two evenings a month demonstrating how to actively love your neighbour.
Prayer, compassion and acceptance are our greatest tools, which enable us to be the listening ear someone needs. We don’t try to fix every problem; we can’t meet every need, but we can be there for one person, at a time.

Everything we do is based on prayer; before, during and after patrols as we trust God to help and guide us on each patrol. So if you have a desire to see faith in action. To help someone in need. To bring light into darkness, this could be for you. There are three ways in which you can participate and two in which you can support. Full training is given to all candidates according to their department and the team is expected to attend continual training /workshops as required.

The cost of training is £350. Training takes place in March and September. So let us build partnerships by getting your church, workplace or community project to support you with funding.

So please consider joining the team: Street Pastor; School Pastor; Hub Assistant; Prayer Pastors/partners* or Fund Raiser.

*please note: prayer partners are not required to complete training.
