If you see Street Pastors on patrol then you’ll notice they carry a bag with them. Ever wondered what was in it?  In the fourth entry of this series we shall find out why Street Pastors pack a Dustpan & Brush in their bag.

And the reason is…to clear away broken glass.

A dustpan and brush helps us protect those out in the night-time economy!  There can be broken glass on the pavement from broken bottles or glasses and sweeping it up means that it can’t cause any harm to hands, if anyone happens to fall over, feet, if anyone has taken off their uncomfortable shoes and we’ve not seen them to offer flip-flops, or paws!
